Little Women

This nov­el­iza­tion of the clas­sic sto­ry of four sis­ters in nine­teenth-cen­tu­ry New Eng­land is based on the 1994 Colum­bia Pic­tures movie and illus­trat­ed with col­or pho­tographs from the film. The film’s screen­play is by Robin Swicord and stars Winona Ryder, Susan Saran­don, Gabriel Byrne, Eric Stoltz, Saman­tha Math­is, and Tri­ni Alvara­do. The film and book tells the sto­ry of the March family—spirited Jo, beau­ti­ful Meg, sen­si­tive Beth, and roman­tic Amy—as they make their tran­si­tion from girl­hood to womanhood.
